Mission Statement

The Georgetown – Scott County Parks and Recreation Department continually strives to develop, provide, and maintain quality programs and facilities that meet the increasing needs of our growing community.

Parks

Georgetown – Scott County Parks & Recreation provides public parks and recreational services to the residents of Scott County. The Parks Department maintains over 350 acres at over 11 park sites, which include three recreation centers, five boat launch sites, two walking trails, two pool facilities, and a variety of other passive and active amenities.

Facilities

The Community Sport and Activity Pavilion is your community Recreation headquarters! Nowhere in Scott County will you find more family activities than right here on your back doorstep. We offer indoor and outdoor recreational facilities for all ages and abilities. Our activities include volleyball, basketball, water aerobics, dance, gymnastics, fitness, and more!

Programs

Make a splash by learning how to swim, enjoy water Aerobics, compete in a championship swim meet or learn to swim at The Pavilion swimming pool. Whether you are looking to swim, join an exercise class, or need help with childcare when kids are out of school, we have something for you.
